Dr. Kentaro Matsumoto, DDS

Dr. Kentaro hails from a distinguished family of dentists, with his passion for the field inspired by a long lineage that began with his grandmother. Originally from Japan, his career in dentistry began with his graduation from the renowned Showa University Dental School in 2002. Eager to broaden his horizons and gain a global perspective, Dr. Kentaro furthered his education in the United States by completing the Advanced Standing Program for International Dentists at the University of Southern California’s School of Dentistry in 2013, earning his U.S. dental credentials in 2015.

Dr. Kentaro’s commitment to professional growth also led him to pursue an MBA from Hawaii Pacific University, which he completed in 2009.

Known for his dedication to using the latest techniques and advancements in dental care, Dr. Kentaro is passionate about providing the best possible outcomes for his patients. His diverse training and experiences have equipped him with the skills to address a wide range of dental needs with precision and compassion.

Outside of the office, Dr. Kentaro’s love for life extends to his personal passions. He’s an avid surfer, often found catching waves along Hawaii’s beautiful beaches. His adventurous spirit also leads him to travel the world, where he draws inspiration from different cultures. Additionally, he has a creative side and enjoys spending time refining his musical talents.
